FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

-Do you have a showroom?

Yes we do! Not all of our furniture is on our website yet so please come and visit us to discover our full range of furniture & accessories. Our showroom is at 257-259 Beckenham Road, Beckenham BR3 4RP (on the main road between Clock House and Kent House rail stations). 

-Am I entitled to free local delivery? What are the limits?

Free delivery is available on large or heavy items within South East London and the London Boroughs of Bromley and Croydon. Locations outside this area may be eligible for free delivery at our discretion. We aim to deliver within 7 days and will try to accommodate your preferred delivery time where possible. We reserve the right to charge for delivery within these areas in exceptional circumstances, though any delivery charge will be agreed with the customer prior to the delivery date. For delivery outside the 'free delivery' areas please contact us for a fair and competitive quote.

-Can you make furniture to specific measurments/finishes?

Yes, some ranges are can be made to fit your requirements, particularly the 'Reproduction' styles which are made in the UK.  We are sometimes able to accommodate adaptations to items in our pine range - please ask in store for full details.  Many of our pine ranges are available in multiple colour finishes or unfinished.  We offer a custom painting service for all our pine furniture.

We ask for a 15% non-returnable deposit on any orders made for customised items.

-How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

This depends if the item is in stock - if so, we aim to deliver within 7 days. If the item you are after isn't in stock, it normally takes 4-6 weeks for it to be delivered. 

-I couldn't find what I was looking for on your website, do you have more items in stock?

Yes we do, our new website is constantly being updated with new products. Visit us in store to find out about the full range of furniture we offer.

-What does "Reproduction Furniture" mean?

"Reproduction Furniture" is simply a term used to describe furniture that is made as an imitation or copy of a vintage style.

-I just moved in a brand new and empty flat, could you advise me on some furniture to fit the style of the rooms?

With more than 25 years experience in the field, we'll have plenty of ideas to help you! Pay us a visit in store and to discuss your needs. 

-What payment methods do you accept?

Our highstreet store in Beckenham is equiped with a secured VISA payment system, allowing us to accept all major cards. We also accept cash payment.  We do not accept cheque payments. 

Please note that our website is not yet equiped with an online payment system, for this reason we would kindly ask you to call or visit us to order any of the items you see on the website.

-What are your opening hours?

-Are you far from a train station?

We are located a few minutes walk from Clock House & Kent House stations as well as the Beckenham Road tram stop.

-I am interested in your upholstery chairs, would it be possible to give you my own fabric for it to be fitted?

Yes you can. We will advise you on how much material is needed and what types are suitable.

-Is your furniture made in the UK?

Around about half of it is, such as our upholstered range made by a master upholsterer based on the south coast. Some of our pine range, and all our reproduction range is made in the UK.

-If the furniture I buy from you doesn't suit my room, can I bring it back?

We are able to accept returns on any item up to 14 days after purchase provided that it is in perfect condition and still has any tags or labels attached.  We regret that we are unable to offer refunds on any item made to your specifications, including custom sizing, finishes, adaptations or fabrics.
